Hi. My name is Steve and I am 44 years old. I like to think of myself as being one of the founder members of this life changing group. My MS started some13 years ago, but was not confirmed until 2000. I am married to Sally-Ann and have two girls, Emily 18 and Alice 14.
After reading in the Lowestoft Journal about this new group looking for new members which was put in by Madge, I went along. Not many people there, but a very warm welcome! As time has gone on the group has grown to a number that we would not have dared to hope for in the early days! Great people who I now think of as friends, we talk about anything and everything, worries and problems.
With MS, whatever you are going through, someone else knows what you mean and can offer advice eand help. My MS is ever changing so talking to friends who understand and have real knowledge of things that are going on is so helpful and can calm my worries.
